Sixth Hive uses artificial intelligence to make networking easier and more useful. This page explains in plain language what AI does on the platform, what data is used, what we will not do with your data, and the choices you have. It is published in line with UK GDPR transparency principles.

What AI does on Sixth Hive

• Post editor: you give us a brief and the editor produces a draft you can edit or discard
• Reply suggestions: short reply options you can use, edit or dismiss
• Intelligent matching: surfacing people, Hives, events and opportunities relevant to you
• Signals in the feed: short notes highlighting noteworthy context or activity

 

Wherever AI is at work, there is a visible indicator in the product so you know you are interacting with an AI-assisted feature.

What data is used

To make the features above work, we use the information you have already chosen to share with Sixth Hive: your profile, your posts, your engagement signals and the prompts you type into the AI tools. Technical data such as IP and device is used for security, not as an input to matching.

What we do not do with your data

• We do not use your private messages or paid content to train foundation models
• We do not sell personal data to third parties
• Our AI model provider acts as a processor on our behalf, under contracts that restrict it to delivering the service and prohibit using your data to train its own models
• AI on Sixth Hive does not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Suggestions are informational; you remain in control of what you publish

Your choices

• You can edit, dismiss or ignore any AI-generated suggestion
• You can manage your profile visibility in Settings → Privacy
• You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, and ask us to stop using it for personalisation, by emailing info@sixthhive.com
